Secret of the secrets of the Great Pyramid.
This room was discovered in 1923 and they thought it was a burial chamber but what many people don't know is what that chamber is for.
A drawing from the British newspaper The Sphere, dated March 22, 1913, clearly shows the newly opened tunnels and chambers inside the Sphinx.
In 1989, Japanese scientists from Waseda University conducted excavations at the paws of the sphinx. Under the left paw of the statue they found a tunnel about four meters deep.
Geophysicist Thomas Dobecki conducted a scan and found that it led to sealed chambers. However, Egyptian authorities prohibited further research.

Such an angle would be bad for maintaining the balance of the 'blade' on its axle as well as greater effort needed to propel it due to increased friction.
Additiona evidence of casting of the blocks 'in place' is the many "L" shaped corner blocks. Quarries do not produce such blocks, and stone masons would have no need to produce them either if stone masons built the wall, but they didn't since the blocks were cast, not carved nor cut out of hard granite.

"Houston, we have a problem." All of the thinking caps in the world may not be enough to figure this one out. The problem is those core-drilled holes that must have served for the insertion of door hinges or pivot pins. There's a problem with both that doorway (one of over a dozen) at the Osirion, and the abandoned granite cabinet lying in the sand on Elephantine Island.
The main problem is in conceiving of a tool design capable of rotating a core drill where there is no room for rotating... unless it was driven by a flexible, bendable shaft in prehistoric times. The existence of such a design would have required some fairly sophisticated engineering.
The other problem is the drilling of the doorway holes overhead via any manual method of using an abrasive sand and/ or sandy slurry.
That would not be physically possible even though it would have been possible to cast a copper alloy pipe with coarse emery grit embedded into the metal itself at the ends. The grit would have to be fairly fine and the pipe not very thin to prevent the leading edge from crumbling when pressure was applied. But again, how could the rotating have been accomplished where there's no space?
Also, note the perfect right-angle straightness of the door frame near the bottom. Above that area the edge was chiseled away to break the door that probably protected some things of significant value. The door frame is remarkable perfect in that doorway while others are much inferior and even unfinished.
Lastly, notice inside the room that a fake back wall has been broken through in order to reach the 'treasures' hidden behind it. Only the workers of the side could have known about such a deception. And only treasures of great value would have been double hidden and secured in such a manner.

The Petrie drill core #7 shows drill marks penetrating the granit around 2mm each turn of the drill in one singular motion. According to academia all granit holes were made with copper, drill bows and sand, and, of course, a lot of time.
The drill holes at the front of that box are proof that tools were used.
Don't let anyone bully you into thinking that with plenty of good ol' fashioned determination and patience, every kind of stonework was possible in every kind of stone in every kind of ancient era. The man or men who attempted to shape this big block into a stone sarcophagus learned the hard way that hard stone was harder than them and their inadequate tools, eventually conceding defeat and throwing in the towel. That was a wise decision because that thing is a big mess.

Colossal unfinished and abandoned ancient megalith that never made it out of the Yangshan Quarry, China. This was made in the 15th century, on the orders of the Yongle Emperor who wanted to build a colossal monument to his father. The rocks were cut to order, but unfortunately the question of how they were going to be moved remained unanswered.
In the end a more modest monument was built, and the enormous blocks were left in the quarry.
